What this assessment is based on
We checked Dojo’s public pricing, product and contractual documents. We have not conducted a controlled comparison of transaction speeds, uptime or support response times. We do not reproduce a customer-review wall or use a star score to stand in for that evidence.
Our perspective is commercial: Time Consulting introduces Dojo and may receive a fee. We are independent of Dojo as a business, but this article is not a financially disinterested or whole-market review.
Reasons to investigate Dojo
- Connecting payments to your till: Dojo describes integrated payment modes that can send the amount from EPOS to the terminal. Ask whether your exact version supports the functions you need.
- Different payment journeys: its public range includes in-person and online products. Check the eligibility and platform requirements for each rather than assuming one agreement enables everything.
- Visible commercial documents: the pricing and documents pages provide useful starting points for due diligence, although they do not replace an individual offer.
Sources: integrated payments, online payments and UK pricing. These are provider descriptions, not independently measured performance results.
Reasons to pause or look elsewhere
- Your existing EPOS has no confirmed integration for the required version or workflow.
- The total hardware, processing and plan cost does not suit your transaction mix or irregular trading pattern.
- The contractual commitment, transfer schedule or support arrangements do not fit your needs.
- Your website platform is not supported by the proposed online-payment route.
- Your existing provider already meets your needs and changing creates more cost or disruption than a documented benefit.
These are decision criteria, not allegations about service failures. A reliable assessment can conclude that switching is not worthwhile.
How to read external customer feedback
Read Dojo’s customer reviews on Trustpilot. That is an external, changing collection of submissions, not feedback collected or independently verified by Time Consulting. We do not reproduce its review text, rating or review count here.
When reading, check the review date, product involved, stage of the customer journey and any provider response. An onboarding review may not tell you about a year of trading. Look for issues relevant to your requirements, but do not treat a selection of reviews as a representative reliability study.
Five checks before choosing
- Obtain a quote using your card mix and typical month.
- Read the applicable term, notice and exit conditions.
- Confirm EPOS and website compatibility with the responsible suppliers.
- Demonstrate the payment, refund and reconciliation workflow.
- Agree support ownership and a safe fallback if a device or connection fails.
Continue with fees and contracts, Dojo vs Teya or EPOS compatibility.
